In a significant shift within Poland’s political landscape, former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has established a new parliamentary group named Rozwój Plus (Development Plus). This new faction is committed to maintaining its conservative ideology after its departure from the Law and Justice (PiS) party. Łukasz Schreiber, speaking on behalf of the newly registered group in parliament, emphasized their dedication to their voter base and principles, pledging to steer clear of any personal criticism against PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński.
Morawiecki, alongside his 40 MPs and one senator, envisions Rozwój Plus as a dual-purpose entity. While it will serve as a political platform, it also aims to continue the policy and research efforts initiated by the Rozwój Plus association.
