Gideon Sa’ar, the Foreign Minister of Israel, has arrived in Prague for a two-day visit aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and discussing issues related to regional security. His itinerary includes meetings with Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka and Czech President Petr Pavel.

In addition to these high-level discussions, Sa’ar will take part in a Czech-Israeli business forum. This event, attended by numerous Israeli companies, showcases the increasing economic collaboration between Israel and the Czech Republic. The visit underscores the commitment of both nations to deepen their economic ties.

This trip follows a series of significant exchanges between the two countries. Earlier in the year, Sa’ar made a visit to the Czech Republic, while Macinka reciprocated with a trip to Israel in April. During these earlier meetings, both sides agreed to establish a joint commission to expand trade and collaboration, focusing particularly on healthcare and cybersecurity sectors.

As part of the current visit, officials are expected to continue discussions on these initiatives. In addition to economic topics, the meetings will also cover developments in the Middle East and their implications for European Union policy and regional security.

The visit is indicative of the ongoing efforts by Israel and the Czech Republic to bolster their diplomatic, economic, and strategic relationships in the face of changing regional dynamics.
