The United Kingdom has reinforced its unwavering support for Ukraine amidst escalating tensions with Russia. During a meeting at Downing Street, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the UK’s backing would remain steadfast despite increasing international uncertainties surrounding the conflict.
Prime Minister Burnham confirmed that Britain would expedite the delivery of air defense missiles to Ukraine. This support includes lightweight multi-role missiles, which have been effective against Russian jet-powered drones, aimed at helping Ukraine counter intensified Russian attacks. President Zelensky expressed his gratitude, noting that the British people have been among Ukraine’s strongest allies.
