Polish President Karol Nawrocki has embarked on a three-day official visit to the Philippines, aiming to enhance political, economic, and technological ties between the two nations. Accompanied by First Lady Marta Nawrocka, President Nawrocki’s itinerary includes a series of high-level discussions and engagements that underscore the importance of bilateral cooperation.

Among the key events, President Nawrocki is set to meet with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for talks at both bilateral and delegation levels. These discussions are expected to focus on strengthening the relationship between Poland and the Philippines, exploring new avenues for collaboration.

The visit also highlights the growing technological partnership between the two countries, as President Nawrocki will attend the 5th Polish-Philippine IT Business Summit. Additionally, he plans to meet participants of a joint hackathon, emphasizing the importance of innovation and technological exchange.

Economic cooperation is a significant focus of the visit, with President Nawrocki scheduled to meet business representatives from both nations. These meetings aim to identify and expand opportunities for stronger economic ties.

Jesus Villamor Air Base, where President Nawrocki will inspect Black Hawk helicopters produced by Poland’s PZL Mielec, which have been acquired by the Philippine Air Force.
